Sciences Po Saint-Germain is getting ready to welcome its new students in September 2020. We are convinced that these first days on our campus will be especially joyful after the long weeks of lockdown.
Admission in 1st year: on academic records instead of written exams
In the context of the ongoing confinement, the entrance exams to the 7 Sciences Po in the Sciences Po network have been cancelled and replaced by an admission based solely on academic records, still within the calendar imposed by Parcoursup (for more information : http://www.reseau-scpo.fr/). The same decision has been made for all exams for post- baccalauréat admissions this year.
For all the applicants who had validated their application as of April 2nd , their academic records will be assessed in the most equal way possible. Details will be communicated on the website of the Sciences Po network on April 15th, once they have been approved by the boards of the 7 Sciences Po.
We understand the disappointment of all the applicants who have been studying hard for months to prepare for these exams. We ask them to understand that we had no other choice.
Despite the changes forced upon us by the health situation, we will continue with our policy of social diversity in all our school years.
Direct admission in 1st year for ‘bacheliers’ with honors
Even with the changes in the baccalaureat exams this year, Sciences Po Saint Germain is maintaining the direct admission procedure for high schools students who passed the baccalaureat with honors. This procedure will open right after the publication of the baccalaureat results, currently scheduled on July 7th.
Admission at Master’s level
The application deadline for an entrance in 4th year was March 15th. Since that date the first phase of the admission procedure, that is the assessment of the very high-quality applications files received, is under way as planned.
If the lockdown exit calendar impeded to hold the oral interviews initially scheduled in June, the applicants would be informed about the induced modifications in this second phase of our application procedure. This information would be published by May 1st.
