There is always something going on at Sciences Po Saint-Germain, where student associations organize all manner of sports, arts and cultural events: conferences, debating nights, food tasting, sports competitions… There are also the much-awaited events gathering all the Sciences Po of France, such as the CRIT (annual sports games) and the Prix Mirabeau, a renowned oratory contest which was held in Saint-Germain-en-Laye in 2020. In 2021, Sciences Po Saint-Germain will organize Artefact, the annual artistic encounter for all the Sciences Po.
There are about 15 very dynamic student-run associations at Sciences Po Saint-Germain, offering a wide range of activities for many different interests. Beyond on-campus events, students associations also organize outdoor gatherings and trips. Thus, they play an important part in the well-being of the students, their team spirit and the standing of Sciences Po Saint-Germain at the local and national levels.
Student associations comply with the Charter drawn up by representatives of the institution and of the students, which is our common framework for promoting equality and risk prevention and for preventing discrimination and harassment.
Getting to know the student associations
The Bureau des Arts et de la Culture (BDA) promotes cultural and artistic activities in the institution. Whether you want to practice your preferred art, or you prefer to attend conferences and guided visits, you are welcome. Music, theatre, literature, the fine arts, cinema, photography, and heritage are some of the areas of interest for the BDA members. Being so close from Paris and its huge artistic diversity is definitively a big draw!
The Bureau des Etudiants (BDE) supports all the students throughout their student life, making sure that they adapt and integrate well in the institution. From the very first day at school, the BDE organizes welcome events for the new students, an induction week-end for all students, evenings and afterworks.
The Bureau des Sports aims at offering the widest possible sports offer to all students, whether beginners or experienced: rugby, dance, badminton, football, handball, volleyball, cheerleading, etc. If you are not fond of physical activity, but like to party, you can join the batucada to support our teams during competitions.
Humanités members want to raise awareness of diversity and discrimination issues, especially ethnic diversity and LGBT+

Les Rencontres invites speakers on the campus: members of the civil society, of the world of arts and culture or of the political life, to address the students about what matters in our world today. The conferences are followed by lively discussions between the guest and the public, and a cocktail to continue the conversation.
Our debate association organizes debating contests within Sciences Po Saint-Germain and with other schools, and offers resources and training to improve one’s skills in debating.
Solidarités campaigns for solidarity, sustainable development, equality, health and well-being. We support local and national associations such as the blood bank and the food bank. On campus, our current actions are the promotion of equality for women, the development of a green Sciences Po, and the sale of organic produce directly from the farms around. Last but not least we raise awareness in the community about larger topics such as equality and health for all.
Saint-Germ’Infos is the student media association, covering student life as well as national and international topics with an online student magazine (Le Grand Pari), a radio (Laye Bonnes Ondes), a TV show (Studio St Ger), and a discussion forum (la Table Ronde).

WORLD (Worldwide Organization for the international Relations, Languages and the Discovery of cultures) links Sciences Po students to the world. We promote the discovery of foreign languages and cultures through a diversity of events: afterworks, cultural outings, themed breakfasts, workshops, trips, even beer tasting!
Within WORLD, the Bureau des Etudiants (BDI) welcomes and supports international students throughout their exchange program by providing daily life tips, study help, and by organizing specific events to introduce them to campus life.
The school emblem
The wolf has been chosen by the very first Sciences Po students as the school emblem, because it embodies three core values: independence, solidarity and a fighting spirit. That’s why the wolf appears on every association’s logo.
