2022 - 2025 : Sciences Po Saint-Germain institutionnalise son partenariat scientifique avec la Maison française d’Oxford (MFO)

Partenariat MFO

On Thursday 13 October 2022, the Director of Sciences Po Saint-Germain-en-Laye, Professor Céline Braconnier, and the Director of the Maison française d’Oxford (MFO), Professor Pascal Marty, signed an amendment to the agreement established in 2019 to institutionalise the scientific relationship between the two institutions.

This partnership will allow several professors, post-doctoral and doctoral researchers from Sciences Po Saint-Germain-en-Laye and the two associated CNRS research centres, Printemps  and CESDIP, to benefit from a privileged working environment to conduct their research. Since 2019, no less than nine French academics have crossed the Channel to make scientific contacts, participate in professional events and take time to write in Oxford.

Established researchers such as Jacques de Maillard, director of CESDIP, and Morgan Jouvenet, CNRS research director at Printemps, have benefited from this scheme. The former has recently published Comparative Policing with Routledge and the latter, Des glaces polaires au climat de la terre. Enquête sur une aventure scientifique, published by CNRS Éditions.

This programme also benefited the doctoral research conducted by Chloé Lala-Guyard , Shaïn Morisse and Marguerite Trabut.

The partnership with the MFO is part of the strategy of internationalisation and scientific excellence pursued by Sciences Po Saint-Germain-en-Laye.
