Arts and Humanities program

The class “Arts & politics” in the 1^st year introduces the “Arts and Humanities” program.

It is followed, in the 2^nd year, by the Cultural Project, which fits into the supervised collective projects. It is also during the 2^nd year that students can apply to opening and in-depth lectures like “digital cultures”, “landscape, city and patrimony project”, “opera and politic”, “actors and cultural institutions”, “art and ecology”.

“Arts and Humanities” program goes on, during the 4^th year, within the specialization block “culture and communication”, in particular with the following classes: “contemporary art fabrics” and “Organizations management and cultural and creative projects”.

For those who want to work in the creation field, Sciences Po Saint-Germain-en-Laye offers admission into :

Master 1 “national art diploma – plastic expression national superior diploma” from Ecole Normale Supérieure in Paris-Cergy
Master 2 “Historic gardens, heritage and landscapes” from Ecole Normale Supérieure d’Architecture in Versailles
Master 2 “theory and approach of landscape project” Ecole Normale Supérieure du Paysage in Versailles

From 1^st year to 5^th year, Sciences Po Saint-Germain-en-Laye students can apply to writing workshops, and spectacles, thanks to many partnerships with museums and theatres (Louvre Museum, Palace of Versailles, la Villette, Chaillot’s theatre).
