
Most of our faculty members are ‘enseignants-chercheurs’, dedicating part of their time to teach and part to research. They bring the outcome of their research to students in their class, where students are also encouraged to grow their research skills and research experience.
Two CNRS centers host the research of most of our faculty members : CESDIP and PRINTEMPS. Thanks to the quality of their lecturers and programs, these laboratories are well equipped to further the research on political science topics for which they are renowned.
Under the tutelage of the CNRS, the Ministry of Justice, CY Cergy Paris University, and Université de Versailles Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines, the CESDIP plays a prominent position in French research on the sociology of security and deviance. The lab is interdisciplinary, with a team composed of sociologists, economists, political science specialists and historians.
