The Cybersecurity Analyst Diploma (DAC) : an innovative new diploma !

The DAC is an innovative diploma launched by Sciences Po Saint-Germain-en-Laye which is aimed at students and professionals with a Bac +4 level.

At the end of the course, DAC students obtain a diploma from Sciences Po Saint-Germain-en-Laye.

An innovative degree combining social sciences and good practice

The digital risks and challenges posed by cyberattacks and Big Data, hybrid conflicts and artificial intelligence affect all strategic sectors of activity, including operators of vital importance.

Everyone will be confronted with these risks, the director of a start-up in the aeronautics sector, the manager of a large group in the banking or automotive industry, an officer in the Ministry of the Armed Forces or a senior civil servant in a government department, an elected representative or an agent of a local authority. They will all have to analyse, propose and act.

In order to forge digital sovereignty for public services, to ensure the security of companies and personal data, the DAC aims to increase the skills of executives who are called upon to exercise responsibilities relating to cybersecurity, without having been trained in this area.

Technical and engineering solutions are both necessary and insufficient, as cybersecurity is not simply a matter of mastering advanced technologies. Cybersecurity is shaped by political power relations, regulatory frameworks, economic interests and ethical dilemmas that need to be decrypted with the help of social sciences.

The DAC’s first launch will take place on Friday 7 October and we look forward to the first class of the degree.
